Header image not showing on iPad (all other devices okay)

  Hi folks,

  The header image on a new site i’ve built (using the Rockfield theme) is just showing as a block of green colour instead of the uploaded image. I’ve tried changing file format of the image from PNG to JPG to no avail.

  Any suggestions? The site is rendering fine on desktop and mobile, just seems to be a problem on iPads. The tablet preview in WordPress editor also looks okay.

  Hi there,

  Can you please tell me what model of iPad you’re using, and also your iOS version number and your browser name and version number?

  Does it make any difference if you use a different browser, or if you clear the browser cache?

  Hi @kokkieh, thanks for getting back to me.
  Sorry, I should have updated the ticket – I resolved it by un-ticking the “fixed background” setting for the image(s) concerned. The issue was only occurring on a couple of iPad air 2 devices (i didn’t get the iOS or browser version), most iPads seemed to be fine.
