Header image on home page only

  Hi. I was wondering if there’s an option to have the header image only be displayed on the home page as opposed to every page? Is it dependent on the chosen theme?

  Howdy eltraveldaz!
  Using the themes, you can look into the themes below, which support Featured Image Header, your theme LoveCraft also, supports this, you can read about it here LoveCraft Theme Page
  You just need to go to the Customizer–>Header Image for each page, and set the image you want, or just Hide Image. It should serve your purpose totally. For your need, you can just enable the Header Image on the Home Page and Hide for other Pages. It should work.

  Also, a lot of other Pages support Customized Featured Image Header here are the themes https://wordpress.com/themes/free/filter/featured-image-header

  Also, it is possible using CSS by using the particular Page id and Hiding the Image.
  But LoveCraft’s in built feature should serve your purpose :)

  Hey Pavanraheja,

  Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately the only header image options I see in the customizer are for the site itself and not page specific. AnI missing something?

  Css is beyond me as well I’m afraid. :-)

  Hi again!
  Correction, there is no way you can do it in theme to hide the Header Image, you can manage it by using the Featured Image for the Header Image. Like have a look here demopr.wordpress.com
  I just changed the Contact Page’s Header Image by setting it to a Featured Image.
  To be able to hide the Header Image you would need Custom CSS which comes with a Premium or Business Plan
  
  You would need a CSS code like here to be able to hide the header image which would contain the Page ID and Header Image to hide the page. One’s you confirm we can work the CSS snipet to help you with it.
  Unfortunately there is no other way.
