Header Image on Homepage – How to make it NOT take up the whole page

  The header image on my site looks fine on the rest of my pages, but when I set the page I want as my home to “home” the image changes to become the background for all of my content on that page, not just the header. How do I keep this header in place for my home page? (I am using the four)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there,

  Happy to help you with this.

  The Four theme, shows the homepage content behind the header image.

  So, for example, if you were to take a look at the demo https://thefourdemo.wordpress.com/ , the content present on the homepage is just the WordPress graphic and text: https://d.pr/i/DOhDKZ

  The content that follows (Services, Recent Work) are separate pages.

  To get the the content of these pages to appear underneath the header is configured via Customize > Theme Options.

  Thank you! Do you happen to know if there is a theme that’s similar to thefour but where I can keep the header and content separate on the home page (to match the other pages).

  You might to check out the Rockfield theme: https://rockfielddemo.wordpress.com/?demo > https://wordpress.com/theme/rockfield

  Most block based themes like the above use a cover block effectively, much like that of a header.
