Header Image on Superhero free theme
-
The Superhero Theme, on the Themes page, shows a full width header image. I didn’t manage to do that on my lay-out: I allways end-up with a small header image (no matter the size of the original image size).
Do I need to up-grade to get a full width header image? Thank YouThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi andrewscottrawlins,
I can’t seem to upload a full width header for the Superhero theme either. I’ve tagged this topic for a Staff follow-up. They should be able to test the theme out and file a bug report if necessary.
Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond, and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there,
I just tested it myself and it’s working great. You will need to follow the instructions for Featured Content on the Superhero theme info page which can be found here:
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/superhero/
Specifically, this part:
Featured Content Section
To set up Superhero’s Featured Content area:
1. Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Featured Content.
2. Enter the name of a tag.
3. Click the blue “Save” button at the bottom.
4. Create a post with a featured image that’s at least 960px wide.
Note: The featured image will look best at a 2.88:1 width-to-height ratio, and at least 500px tall.
5. Give the post the tag you declared under Appearance → Customize → Featured Content.
