Header Image (or Logo Image)

Hi,
I am quiet a beginner in CSS. But I have purchased the upgrade, because I believe the website of my band (that i am creating with some friends) needs the upgrade option.So, my problem is that when I add the logo of the website (Black font on white background, made on Photoshop by a designer), the logo gets black!
Here it is : wearekalamazoo.wordpress.com (on the top of the website).
Ideally we want the site to look like this : http://dl.free.fr/cgOwI8oUx/page2-web-kalamazoo.jpg
(password : wordpress, no user name).The logo i am talking about is above the image to be downloaded.

There is an issue with the image itself it appears. Check with your designer and make sure that they saved the image using the “save for web & devices” function off the file menu in Photoshop so that it is saved in the sRGB color space.

Actually when i open the image on my local browser (local PC), it appears normally, on a white background.Does it mean anything ?

Hi Again!
I have installed the WordPress template (Presswork) on my 1and1.com (a web supplier) account. So that i can work directly on the space provided.Of course I still have the same issus (black image instead of white..), I will notify the designer as you told me! thank you.
Besides, I have just realized that I can’t change the size of the header image! I did the change almost everywhere where I found “Header” in the CSS file, but nothing happened…
Its quiet frustrating working 24 hours without seeing any result :(
