header image problem

  I have tried everything to get the image to show that the help chat advised, but the chat agent finally conclude that it is a tech glitch that can’t be remedied on chat.

  Hi Jerry,

  The Twenty Ten theme was retired several years ago, but I have an old test site with Twenty Ten applied, and it’s displaying header images without any sign of a glitch, so I don’t know the reason why you’ve not been successful with regard to displaying a header image.

  Are you using images of sufficient width and height? The theme recommends images of 940 x 198 pixels. It uses default header images of exactly those dimensions, and I believe larger images, of sufficient width AND height, are automatically cropped to those dimensions.
