Header image repeated
-
I just noticed that the header image of this site is sort off repeated at the bottom of the header. This site has been working well for many years. Anyone any ideas how to fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I don’t find repetition you’ve described on the site https://ingenioust.wordpress.com. Have you resolved the issue?

And I’d noticed that Mystique is a retired theme. I was going to call for staff attention if they still wanted help with the header issue in Mystique.

:-) thanks so much… yes, I was in the process of trying out new themes and then a friend arrived and I allowed myself to be sidetracked… I mean, wordpress is my life!
I am still looking for an alternative. Every bit of help, any suggestion of themes is helpful.
When I started I used clean and easy Mystique for almost all my sites because I am page oriented, publishing with images. The text goes all the width of the window and no widgets on the side, which would disturb the presentation.
I have changed most others but it felt like a compromise.
What would one need to do in order to initiate a Mystique Mark 2 version?

Hi @wolfganko!
There aren’t currently plans for a version two of Mystique, but I did take a look at some other themes that might work.
You may like Orvis, it has a similar clean, dark style.
Orvis is built with Portfolios in mind, but you could also build page centric sites like you’ve described. Here’s an example of a standard page on Orvis.

Hi chad1008
Thanks for your suggestion. I had a look at Orvis… not quite what I had in mind.
At the moment I am trying Expound. Unfortunately, it has not footer widget sections, only a sidebar, which I don’t want to use because I find it too distracting.

I think I am going to settle for 2011 …
even it has a narrow text width … and all my page links are lost and I can’t get rid of (IMHO) useless search thing in the menu bar
grumble, rumble, grutch, mumble…
… one does not show in a gift-horse’s mouth. One shouldn’t
always open for new suggestions :–)))
