Header image scaling issues

  Hello, I’m working on rebranding the site and have set a header image (rainbow background with the logo center). It looks great when previewed on desktop but the logo gets cut off when is scales down for responsive screens. Is there a way to resolve this?

  Thanks for writing to us. I appreciate your time. Having reviewed the site, I can see what you’re reporting. The circular portion of that header image is in fact cut off at the bottom on mobile views.

  If you take a look at the theme demo https://snapsdemo.wordpress.com/ you’ll see that the text is resized the same way as your site, but there’s not a hard edge to cut off like in the circle, so the resizing is less obvious. I hope that makes sense. (should probably get a cup of coffee!)

  The site looks great and you’ve done a good job here. There are some options if this really bothers you.

  1. just leave it be and move forward with your other tasks for the project. revisit this in a few months and see if it’s still bothering you.
  2. use a theme that resizes differently so your circle isn’t cut off on mobile views.
  3. upgrade to enable advanced customization and use CSS to fix the cut off image on mobile views.

  Generally speaking, I wouldn’t suggest an upgrade for a 1 off thing like this. However, since y’all are running a business I think it would be useful and pay for itself.
