Header image size

header image too small – I purchased an upgrade to Imbalance 2 based on the advertisement sent out and a sample web page that had a full-width header image, but I cannot find out how to expand my image.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I just took a look at your site and the image which is showing is in keeping with the Imbalance2 theme. The header image for that theme is only meant to be 210×170 pixels and is meant to be in the upper left hand corner of your screen. It is not meant to be a full-width header.

But in a July 9 email WP sent out, they showed the following blog as an example of what you can do with this template: http://thepatternedplate.wordpress.com/
Also, then why is there so much white space between the header and the beginning of the blog display area? -
Actually, here is the exact text from the July 9 WordPress email:
A custom header and footer widgets highlight her branding“Imbalance 2 has space for custom menus or widgets in its header; bloggers can also opt to include a logo image or a completely custom header, as Carrie’s done. A full-width header of whimsical sketches — in a single color, to keep the overall look clean — instantly lets you know you’re in for foodie fun.”

I see! That was part of an article which talks about how customizable Imbalance2 is while using the Custom Design add on.
If you’d like to do something similar, you certainly can! You’ve got the Custom Design add on already. You will just need to use it to change the appearance of your site using CSS coding.
If you’re not familiar with CSS, as the article suggested, you can go to the CSS Customization Forum where you can look at what others have done and request help if you can’t find quite what you’re looking for! You can find that right here:

ok… thanks. Wish I didn’t have more studying to do; I’m in the middle of launching a new company and shouldn’t have signed on for research problems right now. I’m glad it is indeed possible, though, and maybe I can find someone locally who knows how to do this without my going through the brain damage.
