Header image size query

  I have tried to create a custom header image for the Able theme. The width must be 1280 px. Any height will do.

  So I created an image which is 1280 px wide but when I upload it and select it, WordPress wants to crop part of it.

  Am I missing something ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
