Header image upload

On my computer, I chose a header photo, changed the pixel size to the recommended size and tried to upliad it but it stopped at the field that says crop. Prior to that the image appears to upload but in the little square I don’t see the image, just a blue box around it and a check mark in the box.

How disappointing! Is this still happening with your site? Is it just one image it happens to or any image you try and upload? Does it happen just when you go “Customizer” > “Header Image” > “Add new image”, or does it happen when trying to upload in normal posts and pages, too?
My first suggestion would be to go to “My Sites (top-left corner)” > “Media” and upload your image directly to your media library there. Then, go to “Customizer” > “Header Image” > “Add new image” and select that image from your media library, rather than uploading it as a new image. Does that work around your issue?

Thank you for your reply. As it turns out, it must have been a connection problem because it is now all working and my header image is in place!😁
