header image visibility
-
My customised header image (using Adelle) is visible on the dashboard and preview etc but when I look for the site I cannot see my image. What’s wrong?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m using the same theme here http://thistimethisspace.com and I don’t have that issue.
Did you upload the image here? > Appearance > Header
Is the sizing correct? Images should be at least 1040 pixels wide. Suggested width is 1040 pixels. Suggested height is 250 pixels. -
Thank you, timethief. Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong. My pic is 1040 pixels wide x 394 pixels high. It cropped fine and was accepted on the dashboard though….

That’s strange. These are the accepted file types:
.jpg/.jpeg
.gif
.png

The URL of the image is this:
http://thejacaranda.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/cropped-red-shoes-smaller.jpg
It gives a 403 (access denied), and that means the image has been uploaded to a private blog.
How come the header image on pillsandpillowtalk.wordpress.com is uploaded to thejacaranda.wordpress.com? What exactly did you do? -
Thank you, justpi. It may be that the image is uploaded only to my earlier version of the blog (with the jacaranda name). In which case I should remove the image and then upload it again, I guess.
