Header image will not change

I cannot seem to change the header image on my website (zacharynlu.com). I go the usual route via Appearance>Header and then I upload the image I want and crop it. The page refreshes to reflect the change, but it doesn’t occur.
On the customize sidebar, the header image is changed, but the actual header on the website remains the same. How would I go about fixing this. This problem does occurs using both Google Chrome and Firefox.

How would I go about fixing this.
WordPress.com has recently implemented an update that affects the setting of custom backgrounds and custom headers. At Customize > Header Image, or at Customize Colors & Backgrounds, if you see a notice informing you that these options are part of the Premium Plan, you’ll have to choose “Exit the preview” to get back to the free version of Customize. Once you are back in the free version of Customize you may upload an image to create a custom header.

Hi zacharynlu – the custom header I see in your Customizer is the same one that I see both in the preview pane as well as on the front end of your site. Did you manage to get this sorted out?
musicdoc1 – just a heads-up that the info you provided isn’t quite accurate. zacharynlu has a Premium plan, there’ve been no recent changes to the Customizer, and finally the Custom Header is not part of the Custom Design trial mode. If you’d like to discuss this further in private, please email themes AT wordpress DOT com so we don’t confuse this thread further. Thanks!

I concede that I erred as follows:
1. Presuming that this was another one of the severeal complaints I’ve seen in the support forums regarding the Customize trial mode activation issue I first reported a few weeks back, here.
2. Misremembering regarding the custom header feature at Customize. The classic custom header and custom background pages were removed at or about the same time. However, only one of the corresponding features at customize has the trial mode activation issue.However, I never said that there had been recent changes at Customize. What I referred to is that the recent removal of the classic custom background and header pages suddenly forced people to use the Customize page in order to set or revise custom headers, palette colors, and backgrounds. Previous to the change it was unnecessary to visit Customize, and I for one seldom did, except when responding to an issue reported by others involving the Customize page. The links the classic custom menus and custom header pages in the dashboard admin panel at Appearance were redirected on or about 26 June to the Customize page.
Aside from this one, topics in which the aforementioned issue (removal of classic custom header and backgrounds pages, and redirection of admin panel links) and/or the sometimes related trial preview issue at the Customizer have been discussed include the following:
