  I am trying to add a square header image to my new blog using the Delicacy theme but it comes out very stretched out as a landscape image. Can I not just have it look like the original? I am just getting started and not very good at this and have lots of questions….where can I go for help?

  In most themes the header image has fixed dimensions: full width, and a reasonable height. If the theme allowed you to insert a square full-width image, the image would cover the whole screen, and you wouldn’t see the content of your pages if you didn’t scroll down. You must create an image in the dimensions the theme specifies.

  Thanks justpi, I am at my wits end. Trying blogger now and getting nowhere. Apparently I am just unable.
