Header in Goran is being cut off a the top

    I have uploaded a custom header in the Goran theme, and my header is cut off at the top. I’ve tried other photos and have got the same response. I like my header and want to keep it, but also don’t want to change themes so what should I try next?

    Looking at the Goran theme’s showcase page, they mention a full width Page header at 1230 x 1230 pixels in size. When uploading a header inside the Customizer, it recommends 1230 x 576 pixels in size.

    With and without cropping the uploaded header image in the Customizer’s header uploader, I’m getting the same result that you are with the photo being cropped about 100 pixels from the top of the image.

    Meantime, you may want to search through the previous forum discussions on Goran to see if there was a solution to this other than not including text in the header image within the top 100 pixel area.

    Thank you so much, I noticed there was a discrepancy between the size, and I had made sure I had uploaded a header of that size, but ? I’ve made another header that fits, but I still would like to use a bigger header, or should I say not-cropped wider header as is showed when you first look at the theme, or close enough to it anyway. I’ll definitely have a look in the Goran forum to see if the problem comes up.

    You’re very welcome, but if you want assistance from Staff to use the header you were using when you posted your forum thread, you might want to put it back so they can see it. :)

    Hi @justconsideritblog and @justjennifer, actually the header ratio changes depending on the size of screen you’re using. Try resizing the browser screen and you’ll see what I mean.

    If you can, you might try adding extra tan space around the image so that the important parts won’t be cut off. I hope that helps!
