Header in Vigilance
-
I just switched my theme from Press Row to Vigilance. I had a custom header with the name of my blog already on it, so I naturally selected “hide text” so the name wouldn’t be printed over my header.
Unfortunately, this change means you can’t click on the header with the blog name to go back to the home page. You can only do this if you have the text showing.
Is there any way I can change this? It hampers what I can do with the header, design-wise. Thanks!
I’m also not a fan of the tiny font for the calendar widget, but that I can begrudgingly live with.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You’ve got a “Home” tab alright, so I don’t see why you need the identical header function.

Well I can think of two reasons right now:
1. A big header is a lot more salient than a tiny link above my sidebar.
2. Continuity from the design of my previous theme.
I just changed to Vigilance as well and while I’m quite happy with every other aspect of this these, having an unclickable header bugs me a lot.
This issue has come up before and the support team resolved it quite easily. (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/black-letterhead-theme-question/page/3?replies=66) Maybe the same could apply here?
