Header Issue with Argent Theme
-
Hello! So I noticed my logo appears on the Home screen the way it should but when you go to the other pages on my website it gets cutoff for some reason. Then when you preview it in a Tablet or cell phone it appears fine. Any suggestions as to why it’s doing this while I preview it on my Laptop?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, if you look at the Argent demo site, and click through to a page, such as A Parent Page, that is the way this theme is designed. In order to change that, it would require custom CSS, which is part of the WordPress.com Premium Plan upgrade.

Hi @ jessiemcclary, I see one WordPress.com site associated with your username, and several self-hosted sites. The WordPress.com site is using the Pilcrow theme. Can you give us a link to the site you are talking about please?

This theme has a “portfolio” page that does not allow CSS (specifically on that page) I just can’t seem to figure out how to add css to the entire site that will hide the site-branding and the site-title just for that one page.
Thanks! -
What you can do to specifically target a page, typically, is to use the unique page or post id CSS class from the opening body html tag. In the case of the peppermills portfolio page, that is postid-28, so we can do this to hide the site branding.
.postid-28 .site-branding { display: none; }For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours using Argent, there is a dedicated Argent theme support forum at WordPress.org where you can post your questions.
