Header Issues

This was the troubleshooting/info on how to change the header. I did what it says.

Like what you see? Hit the Save button at the bottom right to apply changes. The image should appear immediately. If it does not, please contact Support. Be sure to provide a detailed description of the header image that you attempted to upload and/or attach the image file so that we can take a closer look.

It won’t change! I have resized the image. The image is at this link http://bit.ly/2aTNi53
and I have no idea why it won’t change. I can’t even get the stock photos to load up. Suggestions please? This is very frustrating and this is my first experience with WordPress.

    Hi,

The image in the link http://bit.ly/2aTNi53 has been used to create your header image. Have you resolved the issue described?

    Hello,

I solved the header issue, but now I can’t get the default title from the Blog post to disappear. I’d like this below to be removed.

This is the excerpt for a placeholder post. It can be deleted or edited to make it your own.… More

    Hello again,

It looks like you’ve resolved the second issue as well. Which theme are you using?

I have not actually. Just frustrated. I can’t get that sentence to come off the main dashboard screen.

Sorry, I hadn’t seen those placeholders before. See them now. Which theme are you using? They appear to be just default excerpts. See the Excerpts support page to learn about excerpts. The support page doesn’t explicitly explain how, but you may just as easily edit, and delete excerpts as create them. To edit or delete an excerpt, just edit or delete the content of the excerpt module and update the page editor.

If you edit in the old wp-admin post and page editors, you’ll find the excerpt module underneath the editor window.
