Header issues SeaMist template

  I was fiddling with my template on the (Sea mist) that I have been running without any issues at all, until tonight. I changed my header image just now, and when I (view site) the header image is absent from the page and all I get is a blank square. Can someone find out if sea mist is having issues tonight?

  By “fiddling with” your template, do you mean you have the CSS upgrade and made changes? If so, you need to go back to the CSS editor and enter the url for your header image. Once you make even one CSS change, the header image vanishes and has to be inserted this way.

  If not, um…what exactly happened and in what order?

  No i did not fiddle with the CSS, I am just running the template as usual. I just changed the image in the header space per (presentation – custom image header) I dont have the css upgrade on my blog, so I can’t fiddle with formatting.

  I see a header – I’m not so good at descriptions. Grey with images. Perhaps you need to clear your cache and reload the page?

  I am having issues uploading a header photo, too. I can revert to the original settings fine and the image shows up but when I upload, just a gray box appears and becomes blank when I try to save.

  yes i have this same problem too. like the topic starter i don’t have css upgrade either. help?

  ourtinydot – I see your header fine, too – somebody jumping rope, right? Again, try clearing your cache.

  It’s sporadic… I’ve cleared everything. I can sometimes see it, sometimes not. I’m not sure what is going on.

  Hmm – I don’t see it now, either. Sounds like an issue for support when they reopen Monday

  I just changed templates for the moment, I will wait for support to check Sea Mist next week.

  Yes, I think WP is doing something with the servers. My header has been intermittent for a couple of days.

  avatars are playing peek-a-boo all of a sudden as well. They’re playing with images back there. ;)

  I’m getting pretty frustrated with the custom header issue too. I’ve been having to reload mine several times a day. Sometimes the system won’t even take the upload. Can someone check mine out? http://guppylovesshark.wordpress.com/ Thanks!
