    I would like to get me logo onto the left hand side of my company name, with the company name moved over to the right to fit the logo in. Could somebody quote the CSS I’d need to enter to enable me to do this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    It looks like you’ve added a custom header with your company logo. Are you all set or did you still need any help with this?

    Hi Milena, sugarskullstudios1 just added their logo to their custom header graphic in a graphics program. Most themes support custom headers, including Misty Lake. Just head to Appearance > Customize > Header to add one.

    Hi
    I am struggling to add an image to my header http://www.cathiedevitt.com
    I just want an image at the right hand side and keeping the text at the left.
    I have tried uploading image in various sizes but all I get is the top half of the image (blurred stretched across the whole header area.
    I also want to add images within the site that link to webpages.
    All help appreciated

    Hi Kathrynwp, I am sorry but going to Appearance> Customize> Header, I have only the option to add a new image, which actually goes to the page and not to the site title.
    I would like to add a logo (Image) to the left handside of the site title (similar to the site title of Sugarskullstudios1). Is it possible?

    Thank you
    Milena

    @wimbledoneschool, I’ve replied about setting up a logo on the Misty Lake theme at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/gravatar-profile-used-as-logo?replies=3#post-1925582

    Keep in mind that CSS is theme-specific, so you usually need to use different theme selectors for different themes and that’s why it should be a separate help request.

    @sugarskullstudios1, if you were to switch back to text for the site header and tagline in the header on the Motif theme, you could add a logo next to them using CSS like this:

    .site-branding {
    	background: url(http://s.wordpress.org/about/images/wordpress-logo-notext-bg.png) left center no-repeat;
    	padding-left: 176px;
    	min-height: 80px;
    }

    To use your own image, replace the image link in the url() function and adjust the padding and height values to work with your image.

    Thank you everyone for replying,

    I found it easier to just edit and upload an image of my logo, rather than trying to write some CSS (which I can’t do).

    I agree that sugarskull header looks fantastic. sharp and clean.
    I do not have photo shop so have spent hours trying to create a banner to use for heading.
    Brain hurts after 32 attempts.

    Hi @cathiedevitt, I took a look at the sites associated with your username and find none using the Motif theme, which is being discussed in this thread. Since you are using a different theme, and since CSS is generally theme specific, can I ask you to create a new thread in the CSS Forum and I’ll watch for it and help you out. Many thanks in advance.
