Header loses image quality
-
I can’t figure out why every time I upload my header, it seems to lose the image quality and gets a little blurry. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yes. Unless you choose to use an image that you have presized to the exact specifications prior to uploading the image quality will be compromised. Please see here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2008/04/22/image-editing-and-preparation-tips-part-1/ and here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2008/05/03/how-good-is-wordpress-at-resizing-and-resampling-your-images/
What I suggest is that you enter the Media Library and delete all versions of the image you are uploading. Then start again by creating an image of the exact size that your theme calls for.
Bueno – You can upload a custom header image to be shown at the top of your site instead of the default one. On the next screen you will be able to crop the image.
Images of exactly 930 × 198 pixels will be used as-is.
