"header menu" in my appearance in dashboard

    Why does it not have “header menu” in my appearance in dashboard? Plz help me. thanks.

    Because the header and the menu are two different things.

    The header is where you find your blog title and tagline and some themes will allow you to also upload a custom header image. If you can upload a custom header you’ll have the option to not display your title and tagline with it. In my blog, for example, I don’t display the title and tagline because they appear in the custom image I uploaded. You can change the header options under Appearance ->Header and the title and tagline text under Settings ->General

    The default menu shows links to all your published pages (if you don’t have any pages published it will show only “Home” and “About” which links to the default about-page). You can order the links by going to the individual pages and filling in a number where it says “Order” under the page attributes. You can also create a custom menu under Appearance ->Menus (if your theme allows it) where you can create menu links to category/tag archives, outside pages, etc. All explained here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

    I mean in appearance doesn’t have the word “header”. I used to have another wordpress account and it always has like themes, customize, widgets, menu… Now everything appear, except Header. Plz help me.

    Yes, it should have that option. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? If that doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll tag this for staff.

    Hi there!

    I can see that you were able to upload a header image to your blog after switching themes. Did you get things sorted out on your own? Just in case, the right place to upload a custom header is in Appearance -> Header in your admin panel:

    Just so you know, both the Parament and Twenty Ten themes also support custom header images. Were you having trouble with those?
