Header moving around

  Hello,

  I have the On Demand theme and the custom upgrade. When I change the size of my browser window, the header remains stationary while the page moves, therefore making it off-center. I’ve checked in multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).

  Separately, I’d also like to know if there’s a way I can make the header a link to the homepage of the site.

  Here is my CSS:

  #header {
  position: relative;
  top: 0;
  background: url(‘http://ladyaandmischu.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/klnheader1.jpeg’);
  width: 975px;
  height: 180px;
  margin: 124px;
  margin-top: 0;
  margin-bottom: 0;
  }

  The site isn’t launched, but so I’ve set a temporary password:

  I assume you are the same member posting under another username. The custom design upgrade comes with Staff support. Staff deal with threads in the CSS Forum by addressing threads with the earliest dates first.

  As you have a premium theme I’m posting this for you. Read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your question has been previously asked and answered there.   If you are not successful when searching there is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum for your theme under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it and post to it.

  Hi Michelle,

  Please try using the following CSS instead of your current CSS code for #header so that your header image also moves:

  #header {
background: url("http://ladyaandmischu.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/temp2.jpg") no-repeat center;
width: 100%;
height: 180px;
}

  It’s not possible to have your header be a link to your homepage with your current set-up, since the theme uses the uploaded header image as a link, which you’re not using.
