Header not changing

Ok, so the header image I am using is red. I simply want to change it to purple and there’s no button to change header color. I tried to upload a new header image that is purple and it shows that it should be on the site, but when I click the save button and publish it, the header remains red and doesn’t show the image I have selected to be my header.
