Header Not Customizable

    I am new to WordPress and in the role of administrator for our Website. I see we have CrunchPress theme (politize child) them running and was trying to update our header image (among other things). The image, no matter how many times I upload it, will no longer show in the header. It appears the featured image is showing in the left portion of the header and I finally got the navigation menu toggle buttons to populate, but still no image. Help!
