Header not Uploading

Hi there, I’m using the Freshy theme, trying to change the custom header, but upon upload it just brings up a broken image and I have a blank space on my page instead of a header. It’s really frustrating. Should have been a straightforward process. Image name is correct, dimensions should support the ability to crop. Argh! Any help would be much appreciated :)

I have checked here for the required http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/ For Freshy it’s 780 x 95 pixels. I know from experience that resizing a optimizing images before uploading them leads to success so I’d like to suggest that you try that. If you do not have an app that you can use then you can do so online

Further to this I’m getting an error at the bottom in a yellow triangle saying “Invalid Property Value”

These are the file types for images that can be uploaded at wordpress.COM
* .jpg/.jpeg
* .gif
* .png
Is your image one of those file types or not? -

The crop thing has been very flakey here for a number of months. Size and crop the image to the exact dimensions and then upload that one and it should work for you.

I agree with thesacredpath. I recently changed my header, decided to change back, and found that it wouldn’t upload until about the third time. This happened before, so I am used to it. I would give it a few shots before bagging it and trying another.

Just make sure that the file is the exact size needed for the theme you are using and you should not have a problem.
