Header photo hides blog text
-
Please help. I am travelling each day and have already spent two hours trying to fix this problem. I have no more time before I lose Internet contact again.
MY PROBLEM is I wanted a header photo at the top of each page of the blog. This displays, but interferes with reading the text of the blog. I need the text of each age to appear ..under.. The header photo. My blog is Mosseys. And the name is arctic circle to Everest.
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I would suggest, if time and internet access are limited, choosing a different theme.
Have you followed the instructions for the sliding image header:
To set up Untitled’s Front Page Slider:
Navigate to Settings → Reading.
Scroll down to the section labeled “Featured Content”.
Enter the name of a tag.
Click the blue “Save Changes” button at the bottom.
Create a post with a featured image that’s at least 1024px wide.
Note: The featured image will look best at these dimensions: 1440px wide, 400px tall.
Give the post the tag you declared under Settings → Reading → Featured Content. Is your image wide enough? Is it Featured? What post format are you using?
This would all be much simpler if you used a theme like 2012, which does not require featured images, sliders, etc. You upload the header image on the dashboard Custom Header page and away you go.

This is happening because you didn’t add a header image, you added a background image. By definition, background is behind the content, not above it.
Untitled does support a header image (you upload it in Appearance > Header), but its header image is very small, and it’s meant for a logo. So raincoaster is right, if you need a large header image you need a different theme.
