header photo in cutline
-
Can anyone, in three sentences, tell me how to size an image for the header photo in cutline.
The cropped photo appears enlarged in the header, which made me look for some sort of resolution tool to fix, but of course there is none. Do I have to edit this in CSS or can it be cropped accurately another way?

For the best results optimize and presize your header image to the exact size required prior to uploading it. (Cutline 770 x 140) See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/

Image optimization and presizing does not require any CSS editing at all. You can use either a free desktop program or a free online program to create a header that’s optimized and is the correct size.

You will have to upload the header image and then link to it in the CSS stylesheet.
