How do I change or crop the photo on the home page? It seems to use the same photo I had below, but I want to put a different image in the main, big photo. Thank you.

Hi,
That’s your site header image, which is set at Customize > Header Image. You can replace it as described in the Custom Header Image support page. The instructions provided there are rather vague, so let us know if you have any difficulty replacing the header image. Creating a header image on Baskerville 2 doesn’t require CSS customization.
When creating a new header image on Baskerville 2, you may crop the file image during the process, or skip cropping, but in either case the header tends to display as a rather narrow strip on this theme, with much of the height automatically cropped off, although how the header image displays varies significantly depending upon the screen size of the device used to view the site.
You may increase the displayed height of the header image on Baskerville 2 somewhat by including a tagline (as you have), and social media icons, as are shown overlaying the header image on the Baskerville 2 demo.

Hi there,
That is your page’s Featured Image.
Currently you have your site set to use the first image appearing in any post or page as the featured image.
If you want to use a different featured image, you can explicitly set one in the editor while creating/editing your post or page. You can find details on doing that here:
https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/
And if you want to disable the setting to automatically use the first image on a post/page, you can do that at Appearance ->Customize ->Content Options.

Whoops! Didn’t see we double-posted, @musicdoc1 :D
If that is a featured image, then why does the same image appear at the top of the static homepage, post archive pages, each single post, 404 error pages, etc.?
To which image exactly are you referring?
The OP wrote this:

I read it as referring to the large photo of a lady holding a tea cup, that’s also repeated in the content of the page. So not referring to the custom header showing a cropped shot of a table set for tea, as that image isn’t repeating anywhere on the page.

Yes, you’re right. Sorry, I misunderstood, and thought they meant the site header image. :D
