header picture

Hey,
I just noticed that now all the header pictures are the same picture on all of the pages on my orgonitneked.info blog. When and how did this happen??? I’m positive I set a different header picture for each page. But now they are all the same.
If you suddenly decided to change the theme features, like allowing only one header picture for all of the different pages, that is really not acceptable.
My blog looks totally boring like this, with the same header picture on every page!!!
At least if you decide to change the theme features, you should notify us or something. I just noticed this now, I wonder how long it’s been like this???

I’m sorry for the frustration! It looks like the featured images you are using for your pages might be too small. For example, the featured image on this page (image of the utility cord):
http://orgonitneked.info/hasznalat/It’s 800x480px. The theme’s header area is 940px wide. Could you please try replacing the header image with an image that’s wider than that and see if that works for you?
If they were displaying properly in the past, it’s possible that when you initially uploaded these images, the theme displayed smaller featured images, but some adjustment since then has changed this and they now must be as large as the header area.

Well ok, thanks for clearing that up, but uh, this is not just “some adjustment”, it is a very important change and I believe at least we should have been sent a note. Yes my pictures displayed very nicely in the past and frankly it’s a pita to have to take/resize them again now and upload them. Well anyway maybe in the future you should be more careful with “some adjustment”s like that and think about possible consequences. Glad if my feedback at least improved the service somewhat.

Furthermore, I don’t see where you select header pictures for the individual pages. All pages are the same header pic. Could it be that you removed the option to set a different header picture for each page??? Hopefully not? I’ve been looking for how to set a different picture for a few hours now, please advise?

No problem! Your header is still all the same for me, though. Did you already try uploading larger featured images? Let me know if you’re still having any trouble.

I’m a little short on time and just got to it now, well I enlarged the size but since apparently the header height is now less, relatively to width, the top and bottom of pictures were cut off.
So after some suffering I decided to switch over to this other theme called 20-11. That one has a little more height and is quite similar to what I’ve been using. The pictures fit nicely after I enlarged them to 940 pixels. The main header pic seems to be compressed a little, I’ll try to work that out next time, now I really have to get some sleep. Thanks for all your help. -
You’re welcome! Next time you work on this, try making the header images exactly 1000px by 288px before uploading them, as that’s the optimal size for Twenty Eleven.
