Header picture dimesions

So each time I update this header image I’ll need to update the CSS code to link to the media image?
Correct.
Also, there seems to be a faint gray line on the bottom and the right of the image?
I noticed that too. It was in the image itself. Check the image itself before you upload a new one.

Thanks again! Oh, one more thing. On my iMac the header fits perfectly but on my iPad (in standard view) the header is cut off on the right and left.

Replacing the image manually with CSS won’t work perfectly in all cases, but I do think the code I came up with is probably the closest we can get for this particular example.

Hang on there just a second. The background-size rule didn’t save. Let me see if I can find out why and report back.

It wasn’t included before. Should be fixed now though!
@markkintzel, try saving this CSS on your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page again:
#main-image img { visibility: hidden; padding-top: 14%; } #main-image a { display: block; background: url(http://markkintzel.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/scan2.jpeg?w=960) no-repeat center bottom; background-size: 100%; } -

Yay! I thought background-size was a super clever trick for this thread. I’m so glad it worked. :)
