Header picture too large for mobile device

  Hi,
  I can’t seem to figure out why my new blog doesn’t respond to the mobile version… The header is a bit off. Using the theme Apostrophe 2, free version of WP. Do I need to upgrade for it to sync on all devices, or a different theme? What should I look out for?

  Hi gochugaris,

  My guess is that the header image is not designed to scale as such (it behaves more like a Facebook cover photo), which then means that if you have an image containing text, on the mobile screen the text will not show correctly.

  How about adding more of a background-type image, and entering your blog’s name in the Site Title field in the Site Identity section – would that work?

  I guess I could do that.
  I just thought the whole point of a responsive theme was that it would scale the uploaded pic according to every device?
