header pixelated

  I made my header in PSE11 to the size required 1040×250 It look fine in PSE. when uploaded to my header it look pixelated or blurry. Can someone help me with the issue?

  When you created it in photoshop, what format did you save it as?

  I saved as Jpeg I also tried PNG. they both looked pixelated.

  You might check the quality that you are saving it at. To me, the image looks like it was either saved at a very low quality, or it was a lower resolution image that was blown up to the larger 1040×250 size.
