  when looking at my website now in tablet/phone view, it appears the menu is getting cut off and the functionality just isn’t there, not sure if this is a CSS issue?

  Hi again!

  It looks like this style in your CSS:

  .site-logo, .main-navigation {
  	max-height: 100px;
  }

  Is limiting the size of the menu, try changing that to

  .site-logo {
  	max-height: 100px;
  }

  and the menu should be able to expand again
