Header problems

  I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get rid of the “Just another WordPress.com Weblog” in my header image? It’s so annoying!

  Help!

  Dashboard -> Settings -> General. There’s a box that you can change.

  One more question, how do I get rid of some of the side-links (to the right) like “Archives” “About” and “Categories”?

  I already tried the FAQ and the only thing that seemed relevant enough was the section about “Widgets”. I tried fiddling with my widgets but I came to realize that I’m not using any?

  I’m using the Kubrick design at the moment.

  Please give a link to your blog when asking questions, or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky “8 Things to Know”.

  “Not using any” is what you see if you haven’t ADDED any widgets yourself, so the theme uses its own default selection. Click Save Changes or add a widget: then the default is cancelled and you’re free to remove or add anything.
