Header problems

  hello hello friends :)

  I have a small issue with my header. Probably done to using this theme, but most of the work is done so it’s to late to change :)

  So to issues here:

  1. How can I make the menu block wider so I can make letters bigger without a search button to go to the second row? That will help me navigate the menu so it will be more visible and in different positions.
  2. How can I make the search button in the header overlay(blur) page when I type a phrase to search? That way, when I open the page to type the desired phrase/word, the rest of the page will be blurred.

  Keep in mind that I’m very new to WP, and the simplest resolution would be much appreciated.
