Header Quality

  I just changed to the “Redoable Lite” theme, and uploaded a header.
  For some reason, the quailty of it goes very, very poor once I’ve uploaded it!
  Help!
  I’ve tried different formats but it always turns out the same :(

  Maybe there might be a way I can upload it elsewhere and use CSS to link to it?

  Did you pre-size it to the actual dimensions prior to uploading it? If so, then WordPress should leave it alone and it should come in at the quality of the uploaded image.

  If it was not uploaded at the exact size (smaller), then wordpress will enlarge it in one direction or the other and then ask you to crop it.

  Re-doable lite custom header should be 730 x 180.

  I didn’t -but I’ll try uploading it to the exact dimensions.
