Header-section

Hey!
I would like to have the possibility to choose, if I would like to have the header or to delete it.
That would be a great advantage, since I dont got the wp.org.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Simply create a blank header image the correct size for the theme you are using and upload it at appearance > custom header.
With the theme you are using though you can set the color of the header to white if you wish at appearance > header colors.

“I would like to have the possibility to choose, if I would like to have the header or to delete it.”
TSP has answered you with regard to having a “white” header for your Kubrick blog. I have some additional information I can share. Because the Kubrick theme features rounded corners some bloggers have difficulty making custom image headers for the theme. If you choose to create a custom blog header for your wordpress blog with your own photos, there is a header generator located here you can use http://bighugelabs.com/blogheader.php

Hmm.. Yeah, that could work, but I don´t want that space that comes from “the empty header”. I would like to have, I can change to a different theme if necessary, that the header´s height would be so little as possible or that I could delete it.
(I am trying to do a homepage, and therefor I would need a blog without the header. I do like the wp of the other blogs, and that´s why Im trying to get this solved…) -
The problem is that it is not as simple as just “deleting” the header area. Entire sections of the underlying theme files would have to be rewritten – basically creating two themes since styling would be very different and a lot of background images and such would have to be completely recreated for the no header theme.
It can all be done if you have CSS editing experience and the paid CSS upgrade, but it would also take creating new background images so that it would not look like someone just sliced off the top of things.
I would suggest switching to a theme with a much smaller header area.

Here is what the theme you are using looks like with the header sliced off: http://opposablethumbz.wordpress.com/files/2009/10/nohdr.png .

Thanx for all answers!
Thesacredpath, the last option is quite as near, I suppose, I can get without any payments. =o/
How have you done it?
And is it possible to get a different color than white? It´s really a shame that I maby not will use wp.com because they can´t have the opportunity in the css to delete the header. Buut, that´s my problem…

If you are talking about the modification shown in the image in my prior post, I did that with the CSS upgrade. It cannot be done any other way. As to the “white” I’m not sure what you are talking about.
You CAN delete the header in the CSS, it is just that you need to buy the upgrade. $14.97 (4 cents per day).
Just as a note, Kubrick, the default theme you are using is the last one on earth I would choose as a base to start customizing. It is a complete mess as far as the CSS goes and consists of a bunch of interlocking images for the background area which you have to recreate if you want to change colors.
If you are looking for a theme with a minimal header, why not go with Simpla, or Silver is the New Black, or Twenty-eight Thirteen, or The Journalist, or White as Milk?

Oki, as I said already, I don´t have money/VISA and that its stupid to have that way, that´s my opinion. Because I cant see what the big differences is with wp.com and other blogs. Buut, that is me…
You don´t need to know what I mean about the white, cause I have no opportunity to get css upgrade.
I also said that I don´t have to work with Kubrick, that is the one I for now got…
Maybe I have to think twice or think out a different way to make my homepage.
