    Hi there,

    Currently, it is not possible to add a background color for the header section in the Coutoire theme from the Customizer.

    You can use Custom CSS to add background color in the header (a feature of the WordPress.com Premium, Business, and eCommerce plans).

    Alternatively, you can find another theme that supports the features you want.

    It is always recommended to prepare a list of your must-have features so you know right away if a theme is hitting the mark. You can use the filters to narrow down the themes with the features and layouts you want for your website.

    Before the installation of the theme, try to know the theme as much as possible. You can go to the overview page of a theme to learn more about the features of the theme. You can use the Live Demo option, it is specially designed to showcase all of the features of a particular theme.

    You can also click on Try & Customize to open the theme in the Customizer with your site’s content loaded. The Customizer will show you a live preview of the theme with your content. It’s a great way to test drive a theme if you already have content on your site.
