Header space too empty
-
Hi everyone :) Hope you’re all doing very well!
I run a blog thecreativejugglerblog.wordpress.com and I’m using ‘The Imbalance 2 ‘ theme.
I’ve set follow blog, facebook like, and instagram in my header space.According to the theme, this covers only the corner right portion, leaving the left and central area very empty! And one has to scroll quite a bit to see the content! Uploading a header image isn’t helping as it covers a very tiny portion behind the blog title. How do I fill the space?? Or bring up the content? Hope someone can help.Thank you! Happy blogging :)Farzana

That’s how the theme is designed. I can think of the following 3 options:
1. Move the widgets to one of the footer areas
2. Use Custom CSS (requires paid upgrade) to arrange the individual widgets horizontally.
3. Pick another theme with a sidebar.

As I read elsewhere the header widget area is designed only for one widget.
So adding multiple widgets, although possible, is not a good idea. :-)

Hi Chaitanya,
This is very helpful! I really like this theme so moving the widgets to the footer areas would be the best option.
Thank you for all your help :)

Actually, that theme has two areas at the top for custom menus. See the theme demo here, using the two custom menus to good effect:
http://imbalance2demo.wordpress.com/Here are the Imbalance theme specs:
https://wordpress.com/themes/imbalance2/
Scroll down to the bottom where you see how the small site title/tagline and or small header fit in a space on the top left. Next to that is a custom menu (primary navigation). Then there is another custom menu (secondary navigation). And on the right top is a small space for a widget.
Yes, and, yes, other widgets can be added at the bottom, below your front page posts.
