Header still too big

  I have edited my pic that I want to use for the header to the specs that have been laid out for the theme that I have picked. 1000×200 pixels and a .png img file. I upload the image to the theme and it still gets the bottom cut off. What more needs to be done to get the header ‘banner’ image that I’ve created to look correct on the site.

  I see you are currently using the Canard theme.

  The recommended header size in the Customizer is 1260 × 300 pixels. During the upload process when you click “Save & Crop” it brings you to the next screen where you can either crop or skip cropping.

  I just tried uploading and inserting a header image as per those dimensions and skipped cropping and the header image displays at exactly those dimensions.

  I was trying to use two other themes and the same image would not work in either of them. I re-sized to the dimensions the other two wanted and skipped the “Save & Crop” but still didn’t fit. I found Canard theme and put the image in and looks like I want and didn’t chop off 1/4 of it. Its livable for now.
