  Hey, I’m creating a new blog…I think…how do I edit the box at the top of the page which says “Hey there! Thanks for dropping by Sedatus Aequora! Take a look around and grab the RSS feed to stay updated. See you around!”? I’m using the Motion theme.

  That is not editable. It can be hidden with the paid CSS upgrade as long as you have some CSS editing experience – at least a little. The text is set in the underlying theme files, and we do not have access to those.
