Header tag from a deleted page still there
-
I deleted the page, and anything related to it, but the title of the deleted page still shows up in the header. how do I make it go away, please?
-
Should go away automatticly when you delete a Page. A link to your blog here at wordpress.com as well as the title of the Page though would be helpful since only you know what you’re seeing. You may want to try doing a forced reload of the website to see if maybe you’re looking at a local cached copy. That’s CTRL-F5 on the PC.
-
Tried the CTRL-F5. Still there. With cursor over it the link shows to my main blog page. http://nwrugsblog.wordpress.com/ (password protected). It’s a small company site for internal use. Cleared cache too. Still there.

Afraid I can’t see it then as the volenteers here in the forums don’t have backend access here in the forums.
All I can suggest is sending in a feedback to staff pointing out that we couldn’t help you in the forums. That way staff knows we tried.
Be sure to tell them specifically what you’re seeing as that will help them out.

one other thing, if I may. I see that printer friendly is not available. using andreas theme. would a solution be to have a link on each post to a blog that has a totally clean printable copy of the articles posted – or is that just too much work i’m creating for myself?
-
Not with what we have here. I don’t even remember there being a current working plugin for this on regular wordpress. (It’s real old.) There’s one for making posts into *.pdfs that would be printable that might work.
Best bet would be to submit this suggestion as a feedback as well.
