header tekst and tagcloud style?

  Hello,
  Can anyone help me with 2 problems in theme under influence?
  1:
  in the tekst that pop-ups when you move your mouse over the tab in the browser and also displays as title it does not display the correct title name and subtitle description, but it puts the letters ‘Ik’ in between.
  It should be like this:
  Schilderkunst beeldende kunst / creatieve workshops / schilderkunstwebwinkel
  but it looks like this:
  SchilderkunstIkbeeldende kunst / creatieve workshops / schilderkunstwebwinkel

  in the settings of header I have it correct and on the page itself it displays normal and correct, but in the browser titel it is wrong.

  does anybody know how I can change this?

  I have a tagcloud, but when the size of the letter gets to big, than it breaks at the pageside.

  Is it possible to change the visibility of the tagcloud, and make the letters smaller?
  Where can I do that and is it possible without downloading the theme to my domain?
  I have not changed any px-with in the theme

  In regards to your first question, I tried replicating your title and tagline on a test blog and it worked fine, the two are seperated by a vertical bar in the page title. Try deleting what you have typed in now, saving changes, re-typing in what you want and saving again.

  It seems like the second issue is a problem with the widget itself. You’re using long words in a thin column so maybe let wordpress staff support know about it. For what it is worth the following CSS would fix the issue and break longer words in browsers that support it:

  #wp_tag_cloud div {word-wrap: break-word;}

  thank you, I have done both, but it does not work out well.

  when I delete the whole title and subtitle in settings, like now here: http://schilderkunst.wordpress.com/
  it still displayes the word ‘Ik’ even there is nothing.
  when I fill in a title it says title and put also ‘Ik’ in it.

  also the ccs for the tagcloud does not change anything in the looks of the cloud.
  maybe I can put the cloud in on the footer for more space.

  But why says the title Ik?
  (in Dutch it meens ‘me’ or ‘I’)

  I have this theme just for a couple of days and haven’t changed a lot in it, so what do I have to do to make this better?

  Just found out that the title says ‘ik’ in every page.

  @suzanne, go to settings > reading, and in the field to the left of “Encoding for pages and feeds” make sure it is set to UTF-8. If it is not, change it to that and then save your changes and see what happens.

  Hello, thank you.
  I have checked it and it was already UTF-8….

  the word ‘Ik’ is shown in every page browsertitle.
  in the topmenu, you can see that it gives as browsertitle: the pagetitle and puts the ‘Ik’ on at the and of it…strange?

  hopefully I can get rid of this stupid issue.

  I would suggest contacting staff directly on this issue then. It might be something in the translation for the theme.
