Header Turns Grey After Upload
-
Hi all,
I am trying to see if there is a solution to my blog header turning grey. I created a header in Photoshop and have uploaded it to theme “Twenty Twelve” (with modification via CSS coding to get rid of the border present in that theme that causes the header to look grey) and a custom theme through a WordPress.org site before I decided to end hosting and come back to free blogging. In both places I’ve uploaded this image and it has shown pure white just like the background color I’ve chosen. However in my current theme “Reddle” there seems to be a gray overlay of some sort. Does anyone know if there is a way to get rid of this? I have used the Google Chrome Inspect Element tool to try and find anything that would cause this and can see nothing.
HELP is GREATLY APPRECIATE!
Thanks so much in advance for any input!

You have paid for an upgrade and Staff support comes with that upgrade. There is Staff support for your upgrade and either Staff or a Volunteer will provide the correct answer for you when they are available. Please be patient while waiting.Do not respond to anyone who suggests you contact them directly, as we WordPress.com members are not allowed to use these technical support forums in that manner.

Thank you for the info. Is there another place I need to be contacting Staff support with the upgrade or do they answer via the forum?
Thanks again.

Hi there!
I’ve taken a look at the header image, and looks like its background is set to an off-white color. Would you kindly reopen the file in Photoshop and make sure that the background color is set to pure white? It might also help to save the file in JPEG format to accommodate more colors. Let me know how things turn out. Good luck!
