Header upload: "Firefox can't find the server at wordpress."

    Hello,
    Whenever I go to change my header image through the regular WordPress theme admin, (should be a simple process) and hit “save changes”, it goes to a “Firefox can’t find the server at wordpress.” page.

    The address in the title bar is
    “http://wordpress/wp-admin/themes.php?page=custom-header&step=1”
    but it never reaches the page.

    Searched everywhere for this problem and haven’t found any answers.

    This should be the simplest possible procedure, and it’s not working at all.
