  How do I link my posts to other links in the top line? For instance, I would like all my posts to appear as a grid on the ‘Home’ page. But then would like them to click ‘Life’ and all the life posts to appear?

  You can use the steps in this doc to create a Category Page!
  This will allow you to create a menu item for “Life” category posts.
