Headings too large

  Hello, everyone! I’m attempting to adjust the size of my page titles, but in doing so, the rest of the page text is altered, too. I don’t want to change the body text, only the title. So far, I haven’t been able to isolate and scale down only the title, even though that option appears. Can anyone help? Many thanks! – Heather

  Hello Heather,

  You have options to Add Custom CSS with your plan to do that customization.

  I am looking at your website https://heatheridell.com/ now. If you can tell me samples of the text you wanted to edit, I could probably help you with the CSS code to use.

  Hello, Rose!

  Thank you for your response and offer to help. The only text I want to edit is the title on each page (all of the blog post titles, for example). When looking at the fonts editor, the size selected is already “small” and any adjustment to it adjusts the body text, as well. Does this make sense?

  Hi Heather,

  You’re putting the Jason theme to good use! Do you have a WordPress Premium or WordPress Business Plan? You will need one or the other before you can make your desired edits to your page titles. The Custom CSS Feature,
  which comes with both of those plans, will allow you to use CSS to change your page title without adjusting the body text.

  If you do have a premium or business plan, our CSS-specific forum will help you tweak your page titles.

  Hello Heather,

  Please try this code:

  h1.entry-title {
  	font-size: 35px;

  Put this code to the CSS section of your Customizer. You can use this link – https://wordpress.com/customize/heatheridell.com – to get into this page.

  You can change the value 35px to other numbers (40px, 50px, etc) to make it smaller or bigger. You will see a preview on the side.
