Headless WP cms with React & Gutenburg

  I’m looking to use WP as a headless cms with React and the Gutenburg editor. I was wondering if there are any good tutorials out there that would help explain the setup and use of React / Gutenburg?

  Hi there,

  That sounds like something you will want to do using a self-hosted WordPress site, which are sites that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.

  To clarify The self-hosted version of WordPress is more advanced and completely DIY, and is usually the choice of web designers and developers, as well as advanced users.

  WordPress.com is usually intended for site owners that do not plan on custom development, and is a managed platform, so it would not be possible to set up something like you are describing.

  Also this sounds sufficiently custom enough that I would not know where to point you for more info, though I do see Google has a lot of info on headless WordPress you may want to look into.
