Headline Image

    Hi!

    Wondering if there is CSS to insert an image in the headline of a page?

    On a few of my pages, Investments for example, there is an image at the bottom, I would like to have this display beside the title though (right aligned). Looked into the div tag a little bit but was confused about where the image comes from?

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there, can you tell me which image it is you wish to have beside your logo image? Is it the circle image with the vertical bars in it?

    On Adventure, this may be a bit of a challenge, but I’ll give it my best shot. :)

    Hi!

    I don’t want it beside the logo but beside the title on the Investments page (will also do the Insurance and Tax Planning pages after with different pictures) on the right side of the page title, that is the correct picture though!

    I was told to try this CSS:

    .post h1.headline:before { background-image:url ("https://acquirecapital.files.wordpress.com/2016/06/investment_icon_2c.jpg?w=97&h=97"); }

    That code worked once but then I went to edit something and no longer works!

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi @acquirecapital,

    Can you try replacing with background-image with content in your CSS snippet? Like so:

    .post h1.headline:before {
    content:url("https://acquirecapital.files.wordpress.com/2016/06/investment_icon_2c.jpg?w=97&h=97");
    }

    You can increase/decrease the value of w to change the image’s width and h to change the image’s height.

    In addition, if you’d like the above to only effect the Investments page then you’ll need to target .postid-95 in your CSS:

    .postid-95 .post h1.headline:before {
    content:url("https://acquirecapital.files.wordpress.com/2016/06/investment_icon_2c.jpg?w=97&h=97");
    }

    Let me know how that goes!
